I. Job Summary

This senior leadership position provides strategic oversight for multiple Logistics operations and the managers responsible for their execution. The role establishes the vision, operating model, and performance standards that enable safe, efficient, scalable, and customer-focused dispatch operations across multiple Areas. The Senior Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence through standardized processes, leadership development, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as a key partner to Area Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Fleet, and Logistics leadership to ensure alignment between dispatch strategy and business objectives. The Senior Manager of Logistics develops and mentors logistics leaders, leads enterprise-wide initiatives, and identifies opportunities to enhance service, productivity, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction. Significant travel may be required to support operations, develop leaders, and drive consistency across locations. This role supports the organization's transformation toward a discipline-based management model and scalable logistics operating structure. 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Establishes operational strategy, performance expectations, and long-term objectives aligned with business priorities.
  • Drives standardization of logistics processes, systems, and performance management practices across multiple Areas.
  • Partners with senior operations leadership to develop scalable solutions that support organizational growth.

  • Champions the use of technology, automation, and analytics to improve productivity, reduce operational friction, and enhance customer and employee experiences
  • Ensures consistency in leadership practices, coaching methodologies, and performance management standards across assigned Areas.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, and scaling of enterprise logistics solutions and business transformation initiatives


III. Qualifications 

A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in the waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation industry and
  • 5 years of supervisory or management experience (in addition to education requirement).

☒ Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.

PAY: The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $135,300 - $179,300. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
