Job DetailsJob Location: Newtown, PA 18940Salary Range: $19.50 HourlyPickering Manor is the premier center for Senior Living in Newtown, Bucks County, PA, dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. With a focus on quality and comfort, we offer a variety of living arrangements including Independent Living, Personal Care, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Pickering Manor. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for our senior community. We are looking for candidates who are interested in working part-time days from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Job responsibilities are as follows:  Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary requirements. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Plan menus that accommodate residents' preferences and nutritional needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Assist in inventory management by tracking food supplies and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service.
