NAPA is seeking Anesthesiologists for a great opportunity at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, working 26 weeks on, 26 weeks off! Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) is located in Niagara Falls, New York, serving patients from all across Buffalo-Niagara, Western New York, Ontario and beyond. NFMMC is Niagara’s leader in cardiovascular, women’s health care, bariatric weight loss and primary care. The Medical Center offers a full range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and laboratory and imaging services in the Niagara Falls, NY campus as well as its outpatient facilities. Case Assignments include general and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal and colorectal cases, orthopedic, neurology & spine, gynecology, urology, and plastics. Shifts during the 26 weeks on include providing weekday OR coverage until approximately 3-5PM and overnight weeknight & weekend beeper call for any OB or OR cases that emerge overnight. The MD must live/stay within 30 minute radius of NFMMC. Responsibilities include assisting in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department, medical management of patients under anesthesia, pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining/verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring patient's physiological condition, and performing clinical interventions as needed. Requirements include M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG and FLEX, completion of approved residency in anesthesia, and current physician license.
