Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Foreman to lead and coordinate daily work crews at assigned industrial project sites. The Foreman is responsible for providing hands-on leadership, assigning and monitoring daily tasks, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to company and client expectations.

This is a working leadership position. The Foreman will provide direction to crew members while also assisting with field work and supporting the Site Supervisor during daily operations, outages, and major projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Crew Leadership

  • Lead and provide daily direction to assigned crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and help maintain productivity throughout the shift.
  • Provide hands-on support to the Site Supervisor during daily operations and major projects.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain a professional, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Provide job-specific instruction and guidance to ensure employees understand assigned tasks and proper work procedures.
  • Communicate work priorities, changes, and operational concerns clearly to crew members and site leadership.
  • Monitor the use of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies to minimize waste and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Distribute and monitor PPE to ensure employees are properly equipped for assigned work.
  • Complete and submit employee timesheets and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Perform general labor and industrial cleaning duties alongside the crew when needed, including conveyor cleaning, debris removal, shoveling ash, confined-space work, fire watch, power washing, painting, and maintenance support.
  • Assist with additional operational responsibilities as directed by the Site Supervisor or management.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a strong safety culture and reinforce company and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Monitor crew members to ensure work is performed using appropriate PPE and established safe work practices.
  • Conduct or participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and job-specific safety discussions.
  • Identify and communicate unsafe conditions, behaviors, equipment issues, or other potential hazards.
  • Support site leadership in maintaining compliance with applicable OSHA, company, and client safety standards.
  • Encourage accountability and immediately address safety concerns when observed.

Customer & Site Support

  • Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers and site representatives.
  • Assist the Site Supervisor with communicating work progress, operational needs, and site concerns.
  • Help ensure assigned work meets customer expectations, company standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Respond appropriately to customer requests and communicate concerns or issues to site leadership when necessary.
  • Support a positive working relationship between the crew, company leadership, and customer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Foreman, Lead, Crew Leader, or other supervisory role within industrial maintenance, facility services, construction, or a similar environment preferred.
  • Previous experience leading and directing crews in an industrial work environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.
  • Ability to prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, schedules, safety documentation, and job instructions.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

  • Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test
