JOB TITLE: Residential Site Manager – Float (Niagara County)

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt               

PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT:  Residential, OPWDD       

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Assistant Director of Residential Operations

 

POSITION SUMMARY: Coordinates the daily operation of the IRA, ensures program activities and services are consistently provided in accordance with Individual Program Plans and established regulations. Supervises, schedules, evaluates and ensures proper training of staff; facilitates meetings with staff.  Responsible for maintaining the physical plant and program property in a safe and sanitary condition and with appropriate supplies and equipment. Responsible for the accounting of, and proper utilization of Individual and program finances as needed. Advocates for the overall well-being of Individuals residing at the residential facility.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education, Training & Experience:

Associate’s Degree in Human Service Social Science, or Social Services, two (2) years direct care experience with the I/DD population and six (6) months direct supervisory experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience and six (6) months direct supervisory experience.

 

Preferred Education, Training & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service or Human Service field, and one (1) year experience in Human Services capacity, preferably with the I/DD population and six (6) months direct supervisory experience.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to effectively communicate with Individuals served, their families and staff

Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy

Ability to travel locally between residential locations of Intandem

Must be certified in SCIP-R Core & Restrictive

 

SALARY:

$23.92 per hour starting rate
