JOB TITLE: Residential Site Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT:  Residential, OPWDD

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:  Assistant Director of Residential Services

POSITION SUMMARY: 
is responsible for the implementation and supervision of Direct Support Professionals and the daily residence operations on the overnight shift.  Responsible for implementation and supervision of daily residential operations for assigned residence(s), including housekeeping and physical plant maintenance, staff scheduling and supervision, orientation and training, assist with health related care and follow-up, resident and household finances, resident and household finances, and implementation of resident plan of services. Provides direct supervision to residence staff in terms of task assignments, training, and paperwork requirements, and all other aspects of staff/resident interactions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Three (3) years progressive experience in a group home setting serving the Intellectually/ Developmentally Disabled population

Or

Associate’s Degreein an area of Human Services or related field

Two (2) years of experience in a Human Services capacity

Or

An equivalent combination of directly relevant education, training, and/or experience deemed adequate for the position

Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degreein an area of Human Services or related field from

One (1) year of experience in a Human Services capacity, preferably with the Intellectually/ Developmentally Disabled population.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to demonstrate professionalism and adherence to the agency mission

Ability to listen and communicate effectively with the Individuals we support, employees, parents and guardians

Willingness and ability to maintain SCIP-R certification

Willingness and ability to maintain medication administration certification

Possess a valid New York State driver’s license that meets the agency’s’ driving policy

 

SALARY:

$23.92 per hour starting rate
