Hotel Maintenance Technician

Hyatt Place Niagara Falls is hiring a dependable and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Technician to help keep our property safe, comfortable, and in excellent working condition.  

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
  • Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Respond promptly to guest room and facility maintenance requests
  • Maintain common areas, equipment, and building systems
  • Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and complaint with hotel standards
  • Work with vendors and contractor as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or commercial property
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
