Role Overview The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, FF&E, interior spaces, exterior grounds, and pool/fitness areas (where applicable). This role ensures the property remains in excellent condition and operates smoothly for guests and staff. Required Skills Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical issues Ability to identify and respond to safety or security concerns Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Essential Responsibilities Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, structural, and facility systems Respond promptly to service requests from guests, employees, and management Repair or replace interior fixtures, furnishings, and equipment as needed Implement and maintain the hotel’s Preventive Maintenance Program Support emergency procedures and ensure emergency equipment is properly maintained Conduct property inspections, address concerns, and implement corrective actions Maintain exterior grounds, ensuring cleanliness and proper upkeep Perform snow removal and salting as needed; must be able to arrive early during winter weather to ensure safe guest access Maintain indoor pool operations and cleanliness; learn all pool care procedures (if applicable) Maintain fitness center equipment and ensure functionality (if applicable) Perform additional ad‑hoc duties as assigned to support overall hotel operations Salary Range $19–$22 per hour, based on experience Employee Benefits Paid Time Off 401(k) with Employer Match Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Health Savings Account Life Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Discounts   THIS POSITION IS A CURRENT VACANCY THE EMPLOYER INTENDS TO FILL WITHIN 90 DAYS Qualifications
