Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures to keep equipment and facilities in top working condition

Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality and necessary climate control and/or functionality

Investigating and resolving issues which impact production and/or safety of those within the facility

Showing a high attention to detail to ensure jobs are completed and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked

Being an active communicator with various members and levels of the facility team to bring issue to attention quickly and with the proper prioritization

Acting as an example of teamwork by participating in the on-call maintenance rotation, and coordinating with colleagues to keep equipment and facilities in good working order

Qualifications

Must Have

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent field

Experience with OSHA requirements for lockout/tagout, confined space and related safety procedures

Must be able to withstand prolonged periods standing and walking

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Must be able to work at height

Preferred

Experience in the areas of automation, mechanical and hydraulic equipment

Experience in welding and fabrication
