Job Overview

Reeder Distributors, Inc. is looking for an experienced Fuel Driver to join our team in Kyle, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation and delivery of gasoline, diesel, dyed diesel, and other fuel products to customer locations.

This position requires previous fuel hauling experience, a strong understanding of DOT and hazardous materials regulations, and a commitment to safe driving and proper fuel handling procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining Reeder Distributors' standards for safety and service.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with overtime on Saturday's.

COMPENSATION

This position offers a highly competitive annual earning potential ranging from $85,000 to $135,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities of a fuel driver

  • Safely transport and deliver fuel products (gas, diesel, dyed diesel)
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and fuel equipment
  • Load fuel at terminals or bulk tanks and deliver to customer sites
  • Dispense product via pump system with accuracy and safety
  • Follow all DOT, state, and federal regulations
  • Report issues promptly and maintain accurate logs

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED AS A FUEL DRIVER

  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • Two or more years of fuel delivery experience (gas, diesel, dyed diesel) required
  • Five or more years CDL A tanker/bobtail experience preferred
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Excellent driving record with no serious violations
  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling and safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
