Scope of Work
Performs cardiopulmonary stress testing and physiological evaluation. May also analyze external cardiacs and assist in the implantable device management. Provides patient education related to heart healthy lifestyle choices.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health Science or related field
skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through less than 2 years of relevant experience in the following areas: conducting graded exercise testing, knowledge of cardiovascular physiology, risk factor identification/modification; basic electrocardiogram (EKG) knowledge or completion of an internship in Cardiac Rehab.
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Preventive Cardiology and Rehab, Cardiovascular Imaging, Congenital Heart Center, and Implantable Cardiac Device Clinic 90 Days Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Preventive Cardiology and Rehab, Cardiovascular Imaging, Congenital Heart Center and Implantable Cardiac Device Clinic 90 Days
CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association WITHIN 90 DAYS Preventive Cardiology and Rehab, Cardiovascular Imaging and Implantable Cardiac Device Clinic; WITHIN 1 Year Congenital Heart Center 90 Days
CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association Congenital Heart Center 1 Year
