The Sheeter Backman is responsible for producing neat and accurate sheets to be used on the Lithographic Press. The sheeter will ensure proper size and quality of sheets produced. A person in this role with exceptional performance will have the opportunity over time to learn new duties and move to working on the press. An ideal candidate is someone with a solid work ethic, good attendance, close attention to detail, and a desire to grow their career with us!Â

Responsibilities:Â
- Determine and prioritize which jobs to run based on production schedule needs.Â
- Support the Sheeter Operator, move loads of sheets
- Prep the area, for next run
- Verify feed sizes, sheet size, and material code all match specification sheet.
- Mount and web rolls of paper, adjust web guide and roll stand width to position rolls correctly.
- Communicate in system any special attention items with products being passed down the line.Â
- Check quality of sheets to ensure they are wrinkle free, correct size, and integrity of material is intact
- Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Â
- High school diploma or GED
- Any experience in printing or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- The physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. Â
- This position requires frequent walking. Â
- Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assignedÂ
