Key Responsibilities for CDL Class "B" Driver

•  Delivers bulk liquid safely to customers.  Includes unloading from truck, delivering to customer and supplying proper delivery documentation.
  
• Completes all delivery paperwork neatly and thoroughly.
  
• Communicates in person with customers, providing information on ordering, delivery times, etc.
  
• Provides timely communication back to the distribution manager or customer’s salesman regarding any changes related to the customer.
  
• Maintains load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries
  
• Assists management in route evaluations and efficiencies.

Requirements

Requirements for CDL CLass "B" Driver

After Driving School minimum age 22 with one year experience driving commercial vehicles with CDL and all required endorsements. Minimum age 23 with 2 years’ experience driving commercial vehicles with CDL and all required endorsements. 

• Required to have a hazardous material endorsement, on their CDL or has the ability to obtain the endorsement within a reasonable timeframe established by the Business unit, not to exceed 90 days or upon approval by the business.
  
• May be required to obtain a cargo tank endorsement to drive a Microbulk/tanker.
