As a Banquet Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering a delicious and meal to our groups and events. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality food in line with our established recipes and standards, all while keeping a clean and safe kitchen environment. Cook levels (I, II, and III) are based on skill and experience, with Cook I representing the most advanced level.

This role is a key position in our operational excellence delivery goals. The role may advance into a supervisor level position should the incumbent demonstrate sufficient strategic development and enlargement of performance scope. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare banquet items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is presented consistently, tastes great, and is served at the right temperature.
- Keep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout service.
- Close and sanitize your work area at the end of your shift.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times—meeting or exceeding inspection requirements.
- Arrive prepared and ready for service, with all tools and ingredients in place.
- Work effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain personal hygiene and a professional appearance.
- Report kitchen equipment issues or inventory needs to your supervisor.
- Support the team with other kitchen tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable with daily routines and repetitive tasks.
- Strong time management skills—you stay on schedule and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as well as reaching, bending, and using stairs.
- Basic reading and writing skills—able to understand safety labels and complete brief reports.
- Ability to meet performance and skill expectations based on your cook level (I, II, or III).
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or at least one (1) year of equivalent kitchen experience.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for certain roles involving company vehicles.
