Total Highspeed is a locally owned and operated company providing internet service for over 15 years. Our knowledge of the current wireless and fiber technology allows us to provide superior quality, high-speed internet where DSL and cable are not accessible. Currently we provide service to over 150 rural communities in Missouri and Arkansas, making us the largest fixed wireless internet provider in the state of Missouri. We are growing! Total Highspeed is looking for a full-time Drop Laborer who can work as a part of a team environment. Providing support while operating construction plows and tools. This position calls for an organized, and attentive person with excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Operation of construction equipment and standard underground construction tools
  • Work with an equipment operator to place conduit and fiber underground
  • Cleanup area post-construction to county or state standards
  • Assist with the loading of various materials and equipment onto trucks and/or trailers
  • Operate road vehicles, following all safety and traffic regulations
  • Maintain proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignment
  • Keep work areas and vehicles clean and organized
  • Ability to follow directions and instructions as given by management
  • This position is considered Safety Sensitive
  • Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor/lead

Qualifications:

  • Be able to operate a variety of digging tools (shovels, pickaxes, ect)
  • Accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices
  • Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional demeanor
  • Be physically able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Have a valid state driver's license and a clean driving or safety record
  • Be able to work within a small team & efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation and drug screening
