Role
We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team. The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of selective inventory bins to ensure accuracy.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Pick, pack and load shipments for customers and technicians.
- Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to resolve any issues.
- Suggest and implement more efficient ways to optimize warehouse operations.
- Work on special projects as assigned by the management team.
- Foster a culture of safety.
Requirements and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or related role
- Knowledge of petroleum systems a plus
- Ability to operate materials handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software
- Work cooperatively and productively with little supervision.Â
- Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
