Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Systems Support Specialist to perform all activities associated with document review and BAAN data entry at the Norcross facility. Manufacturing Systems Support Specialist (Manufacturing Production)

 

Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Systems Support Specialist you will perform a final review of Manufacturing Records for Solid Phase, RBC Processing, Vialing Labeling Packaging, Serum Bulk Manufacturing, solutions records, and cleaning and maintenance records, as needed.

 

Additional responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Performing BAAN entries to include production orders, material transfers, and help in the development of metrics which track manufacturing departmental outputs and effectiveness
  • Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Cross training in the controlled components area and help as backup when needed
  • Ensuring departments are complying with all associated cGDP policies
  • Following OSHA regulations and cGMP regulations (i.e. chemical hazards and blood borne pathogens)
  • Understanding FDA and ISOs standards applicable to the department and consequences of nonconformance

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate can interact cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors, or managers of other departments and receive direction well from superiors. As Manufacturing Systems Support Specialist, you must be able to work irregular hours as necessary to meet production schedule deadlines.

 

Additional requirements for this role include: 

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Ability to work within an evolving environment
  • Ability to accept change to the work schedule on a daily basis
  • Ability to pay attention to details and an understanding of cGMP regulations
  • Assisting management in projects for reduction of human errors
  • Being involved in the continuous improvement process, streamline processes, and improvement of manufacturing errors
  • WorkKeys Silver Level ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), preferred
