Job DetailsJob Location: SPP Pumps - Norcross, GA 30071Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $17.50 - $26.00 HourlyJob Category: ManufacturingPosition Summary        Conduct a variety of hydraulic and electrical tests designed to reliably assure predictable pump performance. Essential Functions Understanding of Manufacturing processes. Dismantling and assembly of pumps HSC, KFL, KP & VT Pumps. Set-up and operate lathe equipment to perform required impeller trim operations. Ability to perform balancing of impellers on balancing machine as per guidelines and procedures. Analyze and diagnose if there is any problem in assembly of pumps. Study of Pump performance processes. Pump test set up for all pump models. Conduct performance test and analyze data. Study of VT Pump assembly and inspection processes. Assembly of Pump and testing. Dismantling of Pumps. Study of Electric and Diesel set assembly processes. Assembly of Electrical set. Assembly of Diesel set. Engraving of TAG. Maintain 5S and safety. Cleans and maintains an orderly work area. Communicates effectively with other team members to direct personal workflow. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing / lathe / balancing machine operations/Testing etc. Forklift certified. Experience working with pumps. Experience in adjusting controls and taking data. Mathematical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work well as a team. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency. Positive attitude. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and administer multiple projects and deadlines. Demonstrate initiative, leadership and comfort working in a fast paced environment. Ability to work well as a team.
