About Parker Young Restoration
Founded in 1986, Parker Young Restoration is an Atlanta-based disaster recovery company with nearly four decades of experience serving the Southeast. Now operating as part of Endurant Disaster Recovery, Parker Young combines the resources of a national platform with the responsiveness of local leadership. With 90+ skilled employees across our main site and satellite site, in-house equipment, vehicles, generators, modular containment units, and its own cabinet shop and design showroom, Parker Young delivers water, fire, storm, mold, asbestos, and biohazard restoration alongside reconstruction and commercial renovation services, without relying on subcontractor coordination to get the job done. The company is licensed across eight Southeastern states and serves residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education, and government clients around the clock. As Parker Young scales, we're looking for a seasoned operations executive to lead the next phase of our growth.
Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Operations is a key member of the executive leadership team and owns the performance, safety, and scalability of Parker Young Restoration's field operations. This role has full accountability for production, project management, fleet and equipment, quality control, and operational P&L across all service lines (water mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, storm response, asbestos abatement, biohazard cleanup, roofing, structure cleaning, contents care, and reconstruction/commercial renovation). The SVP of Operations will build the systems, teams, and standards needed to deliver consistent, high-quality restoration services at scale across our Southeast footprint while protecting margins and customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the CEO and works on-site out of the Norcross, GA headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full P&L accountability for operations, including labor, subcontractor, equipment, and materials costs across all active jobs and service lines.
- Lead, mentor, and scale operations leadership (Operations Managers, Project Managers, Crew Chiefs, and field technicians) across a 90+ person field organization spanning our main site and satellite site, building a high-performance culture and clear career pathing.
- Develop and enforce standardized production processes, job-costing discipline, and quality-control protocols across water, fire, mold, storm, asbestos, biohazard, and reconstruction services in line with IICRC standards.
- Drive on-time, on-budget project delivery by improving scheduling, dispatch, crew utilization, and work-in-progress (WIP) management.
- Partner with sales, estimating, and mitigation teams to ensure smooth handoffs from first notice of loss through job closeout and final invoicing.
- Own fleet, equipment, and inventory strategy across owned vehicles, generators, modular containment units, and the in-house cabinet shop, ensuring assets are maintained, tracked, and deployed efficiently across job sites.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, adjusters, and key commercial accounts to support client retention and referral growth.
- Establish and monitor KPIs (cycle time, gross margin by job, customer satisfaction, safety incidents, technician utilization) and report regularly to the executive team.
- Champion a company-wide safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA, IICRC, and all applicable state and local regulations across the 8 states in which Parker Young is licensed.
- Lead operational planning for growth, including new market entry across the Southeast, storm-surge/catastrophe (CAT) response readiness, and capacity planning.
- Evaluate and implement technology and software (job management, dispatch, estimating platforms such as Xactimate) to improve operational visibility and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership, and with Endurant Disaster Recovery's broader platform, as part of the executive team to shape company-wide strategy and budgets.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/executive operations role; restoration, construction, home services, or field-services industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record owning P&L responsibility for a multi-crew or multi-location field operation, ideally spanning more than one state or region.
- Deep understanding of restoration industry standards and workflows (IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, FSRT, or equivalent strongly preferred; will support certification for the right candidate).
- Experience working with insurance carriers, adjusters, and Xactimate or comparable estimating platforms is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead operations teams through periods of rapid growth.
- Strong financial acumen, including job costing, budgeting, and margin management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership or ownership.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Willingness and ability to be on-site at the Norcross, GA headquarters and to respond to after-hours emergencies or catastrophe events as needed.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites and branch locations across the Southeast as needed.
