Kelly is hiring for a Quality Analyst position with one of our clients in Bedford Park, IL.

Type: Temp to Hire
Shift: 1st shift, 4 days a week (6am-4:30pm); Sunday-Wednesday; however, if there is no Sunday work, then the shift that week would be Monday-Thursday
Compensation: $20-22/hr

Job Description:
As a Lab Technician, you will independently perform analytical tests to support process and product quality for internal and external customers. Responsibilities include sample collection, performing non-routine procedures, maintaining test records, following safety guidelines, and supporting lab operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analytical tests per procedures.
  • Collect and test samples within expected time frames.
  • Perform non-routine procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate test records.
  • Adhere to safety and quality guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in lab maintenance and equipment upkeep.
  • Work collaboratively in a diverse team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or related sciences.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Availability for some weekend and after-hour work.
  • Basic computer skills.
