Job Description:

The HVAC Warehouse Specialist supports the daily operations of the warehouse by receiving, organizing, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment needed for field service teams. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and maintains a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, flexible, positive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. The Service Warehouse Specialist works effectively with all company members. 


Qualifications and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years or more prior warehouse or material handling experience (HVAC, construction, or mechanical preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems and order entry
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 
  • Forklift certification 
  • Experience working with HVAC parts, equipment, and tools (preferred)
  • Familiarity with inventory management software 
  • Strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily inventory control
  • Receiving and tagging shipments of HVAC parts, equipment, and materials
  • Maintaining a safe warehouse environment
  • Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse, inside and outside
  • Maintain a secure warehouse
  • Ensure materials are available for ongoing jobs
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules
  • Responsible for vehicle maintenance accuracy
  • Ensuring inventory is stocked and accurate 
  • Managing the maintenance, inventory, check-in, and check-out of all shared tools
  • Manage Scissor Lift maintenance and checkout 
  • Ensure that technicians new to the company have a set of appropriate tools
  • Properly handling, storing, and disposing of refrigerants
  • Resolve logistical challenges as they arise
  • Deliver items to job sites when appropriate
  • Maintain the forklift and safely use it to receive or return tools and supplies
  • Make recommendations to increase safety and efficiency
  • Correctly utilize company software & other computer applications
  • Collaborate with other warehouse personnel
  • Arrange the meeting space in the warehouse for service meetings
