Reporting to: Branch Manager

Classification: Full Time, Part Time / Admin 

Status: Non-Exempt

Purpose

The warehouse clerk's role is to handle Pine's incoming and outgoing rental equipment and to manage the company's stock, via allocations and system updates. Other warehouse clerk duties and responsibilities includes keeping reports about shipments and inventory levels; putting labels on goods; maintaining the warehouse area.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Proactively communicate order status, delays and equipment substitutions to customers
  • Lead the investigation and resolution process for damaged returned equipment
  • Point of contact for Drivers returning with equipment
  • Support Operations team to check and confirm equipment orders are complete and ready for delivery or shipment.
  • Perform Quality Control Checks on all orders
  • Assist in locating equipment and shipping logistics
  • Shipping/receiving including completing Hazmat Shipping Certification
  • Perform daily cycle counts inventory control
  • Resolves internal and external customer problems
  • Maintain Warehouse Cleanliness
  • Other duties, as assigned



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


  • Microsoft Office proficiency 
  • Ability to think analytically with a focus on problem troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills- written, verbal, interpersonal & phone. 
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting with peers and colleagues. 
  • Solid planning and organizational skills. 
  • Monitor inventory. 
  • Maintain accurate labeling of equipment.
  • Fills orders or issues supplies from stock
  • Checks physical condition of supplies/inventory
  • Counts materials, documents and other items
  • Records numbers, codes or other information
  • Be able to use technology (PCs, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks
  • A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast-paced environment 


Education/Experience

 

  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience preferred

Maybe required to work outside normal business hours including mornings and evenings.
