Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about maintaining integrity in the banking industry? Join our team as a Compliance Officer and play a critical role in ensuring our organization meets all regulatory and policy standards while supporting a culture of accountability and excellence. This role serves as a key liaison between departments, leadership, and regulatory entities, while also educating employees on compliance updates and best practices.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Conduct comprehensive compliance audits across all departments
  • Acting as the main contact during external exams
  • Preparing detailed reports with findings and recommendations for the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with departments to implement and maintain compliance standards
  • Train and educate staff on updates or changes to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Report compliance violations to the CEO
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date policies aligned with federal and state regulations
  • Resolve compliance-related issues promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure adherence to all bank security procedures
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance training initiatives

 

What You Bring:

  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Banking, or related field
  • 5 years or more of bank compliance experience
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to interpret laws and communicate requirements effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal, written, and public speaking skills
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software systems
  • Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, courteous, and team-focused approach
