Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Controls Manager to join our team supporting our Federal client! In this role you will join a multi-disciplined program management team providing onsite support at the client office.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Act as the Company representative with the client during the program execution.
  • Manage documentation processes, ensuring all project-related documents are properly organized, tracked, and accessible to execute the client's expanding construction program including:
    • receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produce logs, transmittals, and other reports as required
    • maintain all record as-built drawings, design drawings, standard drawings, and contract close out documents in accordance with the policies and procedures set forth
    • maintain an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project based upon client, project, department, and supplier requirements. Expedite review, signature approval, and release of supplier and internally produced documents
    • Scans documents for electronic storage
    • maintain a hard copy reference library of all documentation which ensures quick and easy retrieval of information
    • perform quality control checks to ensure that digital files are complete, legible, named consistently with the file naming convention, and archived consistently with the file directory structure convention

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years document controls experience managing and disseminating information on large scale, high-value construction and design-build contracts in support of multi-$M Federal client construction programs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management or a related field
  • Experience utilizing document management software programs for controlling and updating the status of Contract Documents such as Sharerpoint, Procore or Primavera Contract Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to independently perform day-to-day document controls activities.
  • US Citizenship required
