Job DetailsJob Location: BARRY ROBINSON CENTER - NORFOLK, VA 23502Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 HourlyWe are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our team. The Barry Robinson Center is a beautiful campus located in Norfolk, Virginia that provides mental and behavioral health to military-connected youth. As a facility, we prioritize the safety of our residents and therefore have a background check process that complies with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.  As a Maintenance Technician you would be responsible for repairing and maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment of the Barry Robinson Center as directed. The ideal candidate has experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as well as the capability to demonstrate use of various power tools. Our Maintenance Department assists with recording information including safety notes, maintenance logs, and inspections reports.  Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Position requires participation in an on-call rotation, which may include evenings and weekends.   Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent (maybe waiver depending upon years of experience) Demonstrated skill in general maintenance Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow directions.
