  • The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of construction supervision experience, preferably in sectors like healthcare, education, or law enforcement.
  • Key responsibilities include enforcing safety standards, managing field operations, coordinating trades, ensuring quality control, and maintaining documentation.
  • The position offers competitive pay along with benefits such as generous time off, insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonus opportunities.
  • Beckenhauer Construction values hard work, attention to detail, and building meaningful client relationships, fostering a culture of trust and integrity.

Are you the person everyone looks to on the jobsite when something needs to be done right? Do you take pride in running a safe, organized, and well-planned project? Are you steady under pressure, detail-driven, and comfortable overseeing subcontractor work, solving problems, and holding high standards from start to finish?

We are looking for a Superintendent who takes full ownership of the jobsite. Someone who understands that safety, schedule, quality, and communication are not separate responsibilities, but parts of the same commitment to excellence. This role is critical to the success of each project and to how our company is represented to owners, architects, and trade partners.

At Beckenhauer Construction, you will lead from the field with the backing of a strong project team and the expectation to deliver work that reflects professionalism, pride, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Jobsite Safety & Compliance – Enforce OSHA standards, conduct daily safety inspections, control subcontractor safety, maintain housekeeping, and stop unsafe work.
  • Manage Field Operations & Schedule – Execute the CPM schedule, run on-site meetings and pull planning sessions, coordinate daily workflow, and prevent trade stacking.
  • Coordinate Trades & Site Activities – Oversee site logistics, material deliveries, site access, subcontractor coordination, and daily field communication.
  • Ensure Quality Control – Inspect work for compliance with plans and specs, manage inspections/testing, and drive punch list completion.
  • Maintain Documentation & Closeout – Complete daily reports, track as-builts, document delays/issues, assist with RFIs, and lead field closeout and turnover activities.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proven track record of managing projects in the healthcare, education, or law enforcement, etc. sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of construction supervision experience preferred.
  • Degree in construction management or related field is a plus but not required.
  • Equivalent field experience considered.

If you’re ready to lead projects with discipline, clarity, and pride, and want to work with a team that values doing things right the first time, we’d like to hear from you.

Benefits:

We offer competitive pay, generous time off, great insurance coverage, retirement benefits, bonus opportunities, and perks like a company vehicle. Plus, you’ll have access to extra support programs and optional coverage so you can build the package that works best for you. We take care of our people on and off the job.
