Sentara is hiring an experienced Medical Dosimetrist at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
This is a on-site position.
Job Description
Measures and calculates radiation dose and develops optimum arrangement of radiation fields and exposures to treat patient under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate for integrated and comprehensive care.
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. BLS, Registry eligible and certified within 2 years of hire
Education
- Associate’s Degree in Medical Dosimetry or Radiology Technology REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure
- ARRT Certification REQUIRED
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist Certification REQUIRED
Experience
- 5 years Radiation Therapy experience REQUIRED
