Job DetailsJob Location: Delivery Address - Norman, OK 73069Position Type: Full TimeBasic Job Description:  The Accounting Manager is an integral part of the David Roberts Consulting group of companies (David Roberts Consulting, Ride Care, DR Security, and Bison Auto). Responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role oversees general accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, budgeting support, tax compliance, and internal controls. Additional duties will include generating financial reports, maintaining fixed asset sub-ledgers, and participating in an annual independent audit.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.  Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.  Reconcile credit card and other balance sheet accounts.   Prepare and post journal entries.  Process vendor invoices and payments.   Generate customer invoices and track collections.  Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.  Ensure payroll tax filings and payments are timely and accurate.   Prepare monthly financial statements, utilizing information from current platforms.  Provide financial analysis and variance reporting to leadership.   Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.  Coordinate with internal and external CPA for annual tax filings.   Develop and maintain internal controls.  Support implementation of accounting software or system upgrades.   Store and archive all financial data, building easily searchable system.  Maintains fixed asset sub-ledger, records appropriate depreciation and oversees physical inventory.  Attend staff meetings to learn policies, rules, regulations, and procedures surrounding our work.   Oversee inventory of property owned by all companies.  Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.    QualificationsRequirements  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.   3-5 years of accounting experience.  Proficient in Microsoft Excel.   Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.   Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, complying with state and local financial requirements.  Operate in highly stressful situations from both internal and external sources, adapting and making decisions as needed.  Ability to embrace and promote change.
