SUMMARY
The Facilities Technician performs a variety of duties to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. Â They may include general maintenance, supply tracking and client transport. Â Â
 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains clean, safe and orderly work areas
- Monitors visitation of Clients with family
- Coordinates, performs, or assists in repairs involving basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing
- Utilizes software system to track and complete work orders
- Understands how all facility equipment functions to ensure safety compliance
- Assures all lighting fixtures are operable with the necessary bulbs in place
- Coordinates with Facilities Manager to prepare properties for inspection and deadlines
- Performs various support duties to include but not limited to
- Assisting with employee office moves
- Greeting contractor/vendors
- Ensuring satisfactory completion of contractor/vendor work
- Travels to other Red Rock sites as needed
- Transports items via the internal courier program
- Performs routing safety inspections and maintenance checks of agency vehicles
- Coordinates van schedules with staff members as required
- Transports clients to and from Red Rock as required
- Maintains mileage logs and maintenance logs
- Monitors and restocks facility supplies as necessary
- Troubleshoots and performs general maintenance practices in a safe manner
- Performs other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- One year of general maintenance experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 70 pounds
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Ability to use telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
