Project Civil Engineer                  



JOB SUMMARY:  A Project Civil Engineer oversees the planning, design, and construction of projects (sitework, utilities, roads etc.) from inception to completion. They provide quality assurance oversight through project review, estimation-quantities and cost, budget management, scheduling, utilization of design software like AutoCAD, and coordinate with teams, clients, and contractors to meet quality standards. 



 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Develop, manage, and monitor project lifecycles, including scoping, quantities, costs, and budgeting, scheduling, and identifying required resources.
  • Use software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D to audit plans for transportation, hydraulic, or structural systems.
  • Ensure projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
  • Supervise field construction activities, inspect work for quality and compliance, and solve complex field problems.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, cost estimates, site plans, and required permits.
  • Coordinate with team, subcontractors, and clients to discuss project progress and requirements
