Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Solstice at Normandy Park and Atria Senior Living at Bridge Park, both lovely, well regarded assisted living facilities in the West Seattle area. In this role, you will split your week between both of these facilities, treating patients on an outpatient basis.

About the Role
As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.
SNF Practice Highlights

Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

Perform and assist with all types of transfers

Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

Current Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in good standing

Associate degree from an accredited OTA program

Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused

Passion for working with the geriatric population

One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
