Clinical Director

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Clinical Director to lead clinical operations within an outpatient pediatric setting. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, supporting clinical staff, overseeing quality and compliance, and helping ensure effective coordination across pediatric therapy and behavioral health services.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with strong leadership skills and experience working with pediatric populations in an outpatient or multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for pediatric therapy and behavioral health services
  
• Support and supervise clinical staff while promoting consistent standards of care
  
• Monitor clinical quality, documentation, productivity, and regulatory compliance
  
• Review clinical workflows and help improve patient care processes
  
• Collaborate with therapists, BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and other clinical professionals
  
• Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and professional development of clinical team members
  
• Participate in clinical case reviews and support staff with complex patient needs
  
• Ensure treatment plans and documentation meet facility, payer, licensing, and professional standards
  
• Help maintain appropriate caseload distribution, scheduling, and clinical coverage
  
• Partner with operational leadership to address staffing, patient access, and service delivery needs
  
• Support quality improvement initiatives and track clinical performance indicators
  
• Promote effective communication with families and caregivers
  
• Help resolve clinical concerns, patient complaints, and service-related issues
  
• Maintain a safe, ethical, compliant, and patient-centered clinical environment
  

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Psychology, Education, or another related clinical discipline
  
• Must meet one of the following qualifications:
  
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification with applicable state licensure, if required
    
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice
    
• Current professional license or credential must be in good standing
  
• Clinical experience working with pediatric patients required
  
• Previous outpatient pediatric, rehabilitation, ABA, or multidisciplinary therapy experience strongly preferred
  
• Prior supervisory, lead clinician, program management, or clinical leadership experience preferred
  
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation, quality standards, compliance, and patient care practices
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work effectively with clinicians, administrative staff, patients, and families
