What You'll Do

The Weaver is responsible for operating circular weaving looms, and maintain loom creels.  


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  1. Operate and maintain circular weaving looms. 
  2. Change weft bobbins on the looms, and load and maintain the creels that hold the wrap yarn for the loom.  
  3. Operators are responsible for inspecting jacket and checking the loom creels.  
  4. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the A-Weaver.  
  5. Attains production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision.  
  6. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.  
  7. Responsible for personal compliance of all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations.  
  8. Follows Puck Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader.

  10. Complete transactions in the ERP system.  
  11. Accurately records time worked and allocated time to the appropriate job(s).
  12. May operate a forklift as needed.

Required Education & Experience:

  1. High school diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  2. Industry Experience


Physical Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary role in a professional office environment. Team members must be able to participate in:

  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, and crawling
  • Regular lifting and moving up up to 25-50 pounds. 


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is in a manufacturing environment, and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, oil and greases. The team member is occasionally exposed to vibration. The team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work at a variety of different angles and body positions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
