Job Details
Under the supervision of a radiologist, the Lead CT Technologist performs Computerized Tomographic (CT) examinations on patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensures the production of quality imaging and prepares pertinent patient information for physician and care team's review. Delivers patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists department management with administrative, quality assurance/control and leadership duties as assigned, including training, scheduling, quality assurance and mentoring staff CT Technologists, and may act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of a regular supervisor.Job Description
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R). ARRT (R), (CT) Preferred.
AND
Experience:
3+ years' experience preferred
Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
CT Certification required
