Maintenance Technician – $1,200 Sign-On Bonus

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
Tackle a steady flow of service requests with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting
Complete apartment turns, ensuring homes are move-in ready for new residents
Perform preventative maintenance to help keep building systems operating efficiently
Maintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
Assist with seasonal responsibilities, grounds maintenance, and curb appeal
Respond promptly to resident service requests while delivering outstanding customer service
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours maintenance needs
Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and the onsite office team to provide timely updates

You'll work alongside an experiencedService Manager and two Maintenance Technicians, supporting a busy, well-established community where teamwork and reliability are essential.

Compensation & Incentives

$1,200 Sign-On Bonus (paid after hire)
Base Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour
Up to 50% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
On-Call Appreciation: $15/day while holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Rotating on-call schedule (approximately every 3 weeks)
Availability for weather-related and emergency maintenance events is required
Schedule may adjust based on business needs

What We'll Expect From You

Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or skilled trades experience
Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC and plumbing systems
Experience repairing appliances and completing general maintenance repairs
Comfortable using smartphones, mobile work order applications, email, and Microsoft Teams
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Ability to live within a reasonable distance to support on-call responsibilities
EPA/CFC/HVAC certification preferred

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
