Our 318-unit Current Terrace garden-style apartment community in Norristown PA is looking for an experiencedMaintenance Technician who takes pride in solving problems, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to providing exceptional service to residents. If you have strong HVAC and plumbing experience, enjoy diagnosing issues, and like working with a team that supports one another, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with Morgan Properties.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
  • Tackle a steady flow of service requests with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting
  • Complete apartment turns, ensuring homes are move-in ready for new residents
  • Perform preventative maintenance to help keep building systems operating efficiently
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards and safety requirements
  • Assist with seasonal responsibilities, grounds maintenance, and curb appeal
  • Respond promptly to resident service requests while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours maintenance needs
  • Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and the onsite office team to provide timely updates

You'll work alongside an experiencedService Manager and two Maintenance Technicians, supporting a busy, well-established community where teamwork and reliability are essential.

Compensation & Incentives

  • $1,200 Sign-On Bonus 
  • Base Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour
  • Up to 50% Rent Discount
  • Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
  • Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
  • On-Call Appreciation: $15/day while holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

  • Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Rotating on-call schedule (approximately every 3 weeks)
  • Availability for weather-related and emergency maintenance events is required
  • Schedule may adjust based on business needs

What We'll Expect From You

  • Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or skilled trades experience
  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Experience repairing appliances and completing general maintenance repairs
  • Comfortable using smartphones, mobile work order applications, email, and Microsoft Teams
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to live within a reasonable distance to support on-call responsibilities
  • EPA/CFC/HVAC certification preferred

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
