Job Description: Are you passionate about creating a nurturing and individualized learning environment for children? Magic Memories is looking for a Lead Pre-K Counts Teacher to join our Magic Memories Norristown family!
As a Pre-K Counts Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the children in your care, creating a supportive and educational environment, and upholding the core values of Magic Memories. You will have the opportunity to strengthen the overall culture of the center and to be a role model for our staff, families, and local community.
Pre-K Counts Teacher Responsibilities:
- Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of children at all times
- Maintain classroom ratios and supervision standards
- Support a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities
- Lead activities such as storytime, centers, music, and play-based learning
- Encourage children to follow classroom rules and routines
- Monitor children's development and progress
- Communicate professionally with parents and leadership
- Uphold Magic Memories policies, procedures, and core values
Pre-K Counts Teacher Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Level I Early Childhood Education Teaching CertificateÂ
- Minimum 2 years of experience in childcare
- Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to make a difference in the lives of children!
No weekend or evening hours!
