Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel RN First Assist for a travel contract position in Pittsfield, MA.

Position Details:

Position Name: Travel RN First Assist

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Pay Rate: Range $3400 Weekly Gross pay based on a 48-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg, Tele

Shifts available: Days

Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 x 8-hour shifts,  M-F, Weekend TDB, Holiday coverage if required, 0n-call rotation and main hospital

• 2 years current RN OR First Assist experience - Required
  
• Meditech Expanse experience - Highly preferred
  
• Traveler experience - Highly preferred
  
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
  
• Covid Vaccination with Booster - Required
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• BSN – Required
  
• RN License for State of Massachusetts - Required
  
• CNOR - Required
  
• BLS Certification from AHA  - Required
  

Job Description:

• The RN First Assistant carries out functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe surgical procedure with optimum results for the patient.
  
• Assist with surgical procedures in the perioperative setting. Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.  Manage and monitor patient conditions throughout the surgical process.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
  
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery
  
• Monitor and manage patient conditions throughout the procedure
