Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel X-Ray Rad Tech for a travel contract position in North Adams, MA.
Position Details:

Pay Rate: Range $2600 Weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Radiology Department
Shifts available: Evenings
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hour shifts, M-F, Weekends as needed, Holiday rotation if required, RTO limit of 5 days, No block scheduling, On-call not required
- Current Rad Tech/X-Ray experience: 2 years with 1 year of current experience - Required
- MediTech Expanse experience - Highly preferred
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
- Must be willing to work weekends if and as needed
- Must have own transportation
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ARRT (R) - Required
- MA Radiology License in hand or proof of application - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
- Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and
- procedures is required.
- May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
- Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems.
- Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications. Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
- Maintains department competencies as required.
- Must have excellent patient care skills.
