Job Summary

The Assembly Floor Supervisor oversees daily production activities on the assembly floor to ensure manufacturing orders are scheduled, completed accurately, and delivered on time. This position supports production flow by assigning work based on skill level, training new and existing team members, and working closely with department leaders to meet company goals. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, hands-on assembly knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule MOs for team members according to the technical level of the harness. 
• Ensure production is completed in a timely manner for on-time delivery. 
• Approve Time sheets for payroll and leave requests.
• Train new employees and continue training existing employees for all harnesses. 
• Learn equipment functionality.  
• Lead by example. 
• Work closely with department leaders. 
• Assemble Wire Harnesses 

Other Duties  

The position will have other duties not specifically defined above that are essential for the overall success of SPE. 

Supervisory Duties 

This position will oversee daily floor production.   

Being a member of the SurePoint Team 

In addition to the specific duties detailed above, you are expected to provide support and assistance in achieving the overall goals and objectives of SurePoint Ag & SurePoint Electronics through collaboration, teamwork and communication. 

Location 

This position will be located at SurePoint Electronics in Atwood, KS.  

Training 

Requires IPC CIS training. Requires 2 years of assembly training. You will be expected to learn through experience and ask questions for clarification.  SurePoint does emphasize employee development. Opportunities will exist to attend specialized training throughout the course of employment.
