What You’ll Do

As a Merchandiser, you’ll be the face of Certco inside the store and play a key role in keeping our products stocked, organized, and looking great. Your responsibilities include:

• Placing and reviewing restocking orders using handheld order entry devices
• Keeping shelves stocked and aisles clean, organized, and customer-ready
• Building and maintaining eye-catching promotional displays
• Supporting store resets and new item placement
• Acting as the primary point of contact for Certco products at Woodman’s
• Providing excellent customer service and answering in-store questions
• Assisting with annual food shows and maintaining supplier relationships

You’ll manage your assigned aisles with pride while helping deliver a great shopping experience every day.

Requirements

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: Choose your own hours!

Job Summary:

Provides support for the Woodman’s stores by placing orders, stocking, building and maintaining promotional displays, new item placement and other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete restocking orders using order entry units
• Stock shelves with general merchandise
• Maintain promotional displays
• New item placement
• Help in store resets
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Tear down general merchandise pallets
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of grocery store operations
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and order units
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Provide a high level of energy to the position
• Ability to stay extremely organized
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills.

• Seeing: Must be able to read reports and use computers. (75–100%)

• Reading/Data Analysis: Ability to read and analyze data on a computer screen and in printed materials. (24–49%) 
• Standing/Walking/Mobility:  Must be able to stand and walk/maneuver around safely. (75–100%) 
• Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling:  (75–100%) 
• Lifting/Pulling/Pushing:  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds occasionally (0-24%) 
• Travel: Ability to travel between locations as required. (0–24%) 
• Work Environment: Ability to work in an operational environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and equipment movement when applicable. (0–24%) 
• Safety Requirements: Must comply with all safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in operational areas. (25–49%)
