The Packing Supervisor will play an important role in overseeing packing operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely order fulfillment for our clients. The Packing Supervisor will lead a team of packing associates, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse and distribution operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor packing processes to ensure that products are packaged securely, efficiently, and in compliance with client specifications and quality standards.
- Implement best practices in packing techniques to minimize damage during transit and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular quality checks on packed orders to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with packing guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Client Services team to resolve packing-related customer inquiries.
- Plan and organize packing activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Monitor order volumes and adjust staffing levels as needed to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Generate and present regular reports on packing efficiency, accuracy, and performance metrics to management.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (CloudX) to manage packing operations.
- Monitor and track departmental productivity, ensuring performance meets established benchmarks (e.g., Units per Hour - UPH).
- Ensure a safe and organized working environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of packing activities, including order details, quantities packed, and any discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in packing procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
- Monitor inventory levels of packing supplies, including boxes, wrapping materials, labels, and other necessary items.
- Lead, train, and mentor packing associates to ensure they understand their roles, follow procedures, and meet productivity goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and effective communication among team members.
- Conduct monthly EFR (Efficiency Feedback Reviews) with staff, providing feedback and coaching on areas for improvement.
Rotating schedule:
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 3PL environment or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of packing management processes, industry best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including reading, writing, and speaking; some fluency in English is required.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Physical Requirements
- Work regularly to lift and/or move objects 10-30 lbs; occasionally, with team support, lift and/or move objects greater than 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time including stair climbing
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling are required to retrieve and stock products at various heights.
- May be required to climb ladders or stairs to access products stored on higher shelves.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks, such as packing, sorting, or labeling, with efficiency and attention to detail.Â
- Must be able to tolerate fluctuations in facility temperatures
- Must be able to tolerate an occasional high noise volume environment that includes speakers, fans, moving racks and conveyor belts.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $24.92/hr - $26.92/hr
