We are seeking an IS Team Manager (EDI) to lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade customer integrations that drive business success. In this role, you will combine your expertise in EDI, systems integration, and project leadership to deliver innovative solutions while mentoring and growing a talented team of developers and integration specialists.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for coaching others, solving complex integration challenges, and delivering exceptional results.   This position is based in North Canton, Ohio. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our North Canton office to support team collaboration and business needs.   Position Summary This position involves being part of a development team, guiding a team and building enterprise grade customer integrations. Responsible for providing technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.   Essential Functions Guides a group of employees as they complete the teams projects and assignments. Gathering and documenting requirements, providing accurate estimates and timelines of all projects/requests within the team. Takes responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified, managed closely and escalated to project managers and/or IT management when necessary in order to deliver on time and to the required quality standards. Offers guidance to IT management on the training/development plans. Collaborates closely with the other team managers within the department. May be a permanent member of the Standards committee to help establish and maintain the departments standards, processes and guidelines. Responsible for the team to adhere to the standards, processes and guidelines of the department. Provides information/status updates to upper management of the teams progress Works with team members to resolve conflicts quickly and effectively Ultimately responsible for the teams progress and the teams projects successes or failures. Guides the team members and motivates them to stay focus, setting goals and objectives collaboratively. Must be a mentor and coach; encouraging and fostering teamwork among the members. Ensures no one person on the team is solely responsible for any task, activity, process or application. Will perform Performance Appraisals for project team members and may assist with employee interviewing. Lead and facilitate departmental activities as needed to improve work processes or improve customer-supplier relationships. Qualifications 4+ years experience in EDI Strong knowledge of B2B EDI concepts, industry standards, transaction sets, business processes, integration tools, and related terminology. Proven experience coordinating the successful delivery and implementation of B2B EDI solutions. Hands-on experience managing and/or developing interfaces utilizing EDI transaction sets, including 204, 990, 214, 210, and 997. Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies to enhance integration solutions. Experience processing and integrating data with transportation management systems using formats such as XML, CSV, and other structured data formats. Familiarity with integration and communication protocols, including FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, and similar technologies. Strong expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with the ability to effectively lead and deliver complex systems integration initiatives.   Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
