About the Position

Mr. Rooter of Westchester is looking for an experienced and motivated Plumbers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of residential plumbing service experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to confidently diagnose plumbing problems and recommend the right solutions.

This position is ideal for a professional plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working directly with customers, and can manage service calls from initial inspection through completion and payment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing repair and service experience.
Valid driver's license with a reliable driving record.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, equipment, and common plumbing repairs.
Proven ability to identify plumbing problems, explain repair options, prepare estimates, and generate service sales.
Professional, courteous, and confident customer-service approach.
Ability to work independently while maintaining positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and management.
Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and committed to completing work safely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to plumbing service calls in a timely and professional manner.
Perform detailed inspections to identify the source and extent of plumbing problems.
Diagnose issues accurately and present customers with clear repair or replacement options.
Prepare professional estimates and confidently explain recommended services.
Successfully convert approved recommendations into completed plumbing repairs and installations.
Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures and equipment, including toilets, sinks, faucets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposals, dishwashers, water softeners, and related plumbing components, within the scope of applicable licensing.
Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout each service call and return the job site to a professional condition upon completion.
Accurately document completed work, materials, labor, and services on customer invoices.
Review completed invoices with customers and collect payment for services provided.
Clearly explain applicable workmanship and service guarantees to customers and document required information using the company's smartphone or mobile technology.
Complete each service call efficiently and professionally before proceeding to the next scheduled customer.
Follow company safety procedures, customer-service standards, and applicable plumbing codes and regulations.
Willing to complete company systems training, and follow system rules and regulations.
