Benelux Tek Group Inc. (Aerospace Division) is currently seeking highly skilled Aircraft Assembly Mechanic / Production Test Mechanic candidates for one of its clients in North Charleston, South Carolina. Our client is a recognized aviation, aerospace, airline, manufacturing, or MRO organization supporting aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, production, line maintenance, and/or airworthiness operations.

Position Title: Aircraft Assembly Mechanic / Production Test Mechanic
Location: North Charleston, South Carolina

​Job Overview: We are hiring Aircraft Assembly Mechanics / Production Test Mechanics to support aircraft assembly, systems installation, testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness activities. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical work instructions in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly, installation, adjustment, test, and verification tasks on aircraft structures, systems, and components.
  • Support production testing, troubleshooting, and functional checks according to approved procedures.
  • Read and follow technical work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production orders.
  • Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and test equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, FOD prevention, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve technical or schedule-related issues.
  • Support variable shift operations and production needs as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in aircraft assembly, production, maintenance, technical manufacturing, or equivalent military background preferred.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, electronic work instructions, and specifications in English.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow detailed processes consistently.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, weekends, and physical production conditions as required.
  • Aircraft systems, production testing, quality inspection, or troubleshooting experience preferred.
