This role partners with Controllers, General Managers, Payroll, Finance, and operational leaders to ensure commission payments are accurate, timely, compliant with company policy, and supported by verifiable dealership management system (DMS), payroll, and financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive dealership commission structures, including sales commissions, finance incentives, service and parts incentives, bonuses, draws, guarantees, chargebacks, and adjustments. Ability to interpret approved pay plans, translate plan language into calculations, and verify results against operational, payroll, accounting, and financial data. Advanced attention to detail with strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain compensation findings to financial and operational stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel skills such as formulas, lookups, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, and data validation. Experience with dealership management systems, payroll platforms, accounting schedules, commission reporting tools, and reporting or visualization tools is preferred. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize competing requests, and work accurately in a fast-paced payroll environment. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling compensation, payroll, financial, and performance-related information.   Qualifications: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two plus years of experience in automotive dealership payroll, accounting, finance, sales operations, compensation administration, or a related analytical role preferred. Demonstrated experience reviewing commission calculations, pay plans, incentive payments, payroll data, or compensation-related reports. Experience creating compensation dashboards, audit reports, process documentation, or commission calculation templates preferred.
