We are seeking an Electrical Safety Specialist / Electrician to support commercial and industrial electrical projects in the Charleston area.

Job Summary:

This role is ideal for an experienced electrician with proven safety experience who can ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards. The Electrical Safety Specialist / Electrician works closely with field crews to identify hazards, enforce safe work practices, and support daily operations while promoting a strong safety culture across all job sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards on electrical job sites
  • Lead Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety compliance
  • Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs)
  • Work alongside electricians to identify and correct hazards
  • Lead safety meetings and promote a zero-incident culture

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an electrician (commercial/industrial required)
  • Demonstrated safety experience in electrical or construction environments required
  • Prior safety coordinator or safety specialist experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and LOTO procedures
  • Proven ability to identify hazards and enforce safe work practices
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Journeyman Electrician background
  • OSHA 500 certification (preferred)
  • OSHA 10/30
  • NFPA 70E training
