Estimator Job Profile

We are seeking an estimator to join our growing team at Southern Lumber and Millwork! Responsibilities include providing accurate estimates for materials needed on specified projects. These estimates include materials needed for framing, exteriors, and interiors based on information from blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Estimator Duties and Responsibilities

• Explore documents in order to gain an understanding of the project requirements
• Select, measure and track various metrics
• Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts
• Read and comprehend blueprints
• Understand project management and construction processes

• Able to work effectively as a team as well as independently
• Able to meet deadlines and possess effective time management skills

New to the home building estimating process? No problem! Always willing to train an eager individual excited to learn and grow!

• Monday - Friday, day shift
• Weekends & holidays off
• Paid weekly!
• Overtime available weekly
  

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
