Job DetailsJob Location: NORTH CHARLESTON, SC 29406 Adjunct Instructor - History Charleston Southern University Position Overview The Department of History, Political Science, and Pre-Law at Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of History position beginning 1 August 2026. Charleston Southern University seeks candidates for all faculty positions who are professing Christians and who are committed to excellence in teaching and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.  Key Responsibilities This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. Primary duties include conducting Political Science lecture classes in an in-person, classroom setting or online as well as assisting students on assignments, grading papers, classroom management, and submitting data (attendance, grades, etc.) on time as required by the institution. QualificationsRequired Skills and Attributes This position requires a Master of Arts or PhD degree in Political Science or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Political Science.
