Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for First Line Manufacturing Managers (Level Ks)to support the 787 Programbased out of North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shift. We are hiring across 787 Aft Body Fabrication & Assembly, Mid Body, and Final Assembly.

These roles will manage a group of employees engaged in various manufacturing disciplines, ensuring efficient operations and high quality production. If you are passionate about fostering a collaborative work environment and driving continuous improvements, we want to hear from you!

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Lead teams performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Leads, develops and motivates employees

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures & develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support

  • 1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • 1+ years of experience advising and influencing managers/non-managers to meet organizational goals

  • Ability to optimize organizational structure and operating rhythm to meet strategic goals

  • Willingness and ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in Lean processes and initiatives

Shift:

This position is variable shift, meaning you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation.

Summary pay range: $102,600 - $125,400
